I have used a number of different sized cooling products for trips of different lengths over the years and the travel wallets from Frio UK have been very effective and simple to use. You simply soak them in water and a gel inside will keep your insulin at safe temperatures for a couple of days. .<\/p>\n This was an essential item on my trip around West Africa during which I spent prolonged periods of time in the desert, in towns and camps without electricity so their wallets were vital as all I needed to keep the insulin cool was water. They are well designed and also re-usable, you just dry them out then soak them again to keep your insulin cool, very handy products which I highly recommend. .<\/p>\n .<\/p>\n HJ Hall Socks<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I have always thought a sock was a sock and have just bought the 10 for \u00a36 packs available everywhere but I was approached by HJ Hall (who have been making socks for more than 130 years) to try some of their sock range and my eyes were opened to a whole new sock reality. They sent me their Cotton Diabetic model, which is literally the most comfortable sock I have ever worn and they also sent the Flysafe model, which I haven\u2019t flown with yet but I can tell they will do just what is required when my feet start swelling at those soaring altitudes.
