I started writing my travel blog after about 6 years of travelling so that family and friends could read about where I had been. After 10 years on the road I decided to put diary extracts from the highlights during that decade into my first book “The Adventures of a Hardup Diabteic Traveller with a Corn Flake Problem“. Shortly after publishing the book I wrote a story about travelling through Mali for the Sahel Project to raise awareness and money to help the situation in Mali. I also began writing for the United Networker Magazine and ended up writing in 10 consecutive issues. At the end of 2013 I was invited to become one of the bloggers for the Diabetes Uk and began writing about issues related to travelling with my disease. In recent years I have been asked to review some products which I have written about in my reviews section
